The Test The Waters Course

In March of 2021, the laws for Investment Crowdfunding expanded to let companies raise up to $5mil per year from retail investors. This expansion also included a rule that allows companies to test a potential Investment Crowdfunding raise before going live. Thus, Test-The-Waters campaigns were born.  

TTW campaigns allow Creators to court potential investors in the hopes of generating interest in a potential public fundraise for their business. It’s a safe environment to see how the market will react to an investment opportunity before committing 100% to that effort.
